Freelance VR Media Production
I have worked for a government contracting company with the goals of advancing training technologies with the use of XR. My role in these projects was primarily 3D asset production including characters, objects, and environments. I edited and compiled all of the video sequences shown for company demonstration on social media.
VR Capabilities Video
This project involved creating a short video demonstrating some possibilities for the company VR capabilities. Each virtual reality sequence was animated and rendered within Blender serving as a concept experience for the real thing. I edited and compiled the finished result.
VR Training Scene
This video demonstrates the Unity scene assets and compilation within a completed VR experience. The warehouse models were retextured and the laptops and other interactable objects were modeled using photogrammetry retopology and map baking to match the original desired objects nearly one to one.
Realistic Asset Creation
This video showcases the use of photogrammetry to create nearly perfect copies of real life objects for virtual production. The process goes beyond a simple scan with the required retopology and baking necessary to create an optimized and usable asset within virtual reality.
Virtual Trainers
This video demonstrates the possibilities for virtual training in the form of human interaction. I used photogrammetry to create an accurate model of myself that was then optimized to allow for rigging and motion capture animation. The results provide a way to follow human demonstration in a digital training environment.
