I have been immensely inspired by Star Wars and the many unique characters across the galaxy. This project features a redesigned R2-D2 built from the ground up. This meant manufacturing on a larger scale in multiple mediums such as 3D printing and woodworking. The final product features dynamic movement, film-inspired lighting, and motion controlled audio output. I brought Star Wars into my living room with my university inspired design, CU-D2.
